Automated reminders

The system has the ability to configure automated reminders about a set of documents. The documents are specified using an existing Meridian dynamic collection created by a user. The reminders can be sent to a single user or to a group of users. The reminders are sent by email and can be sent as often as every hour and as infrequently as desired. The reminders are generated by the stand-alone tool named BCReminder and sent using a configurable SMTP server. This program is configured as a scheduled task that runs on the server, checking when new reminder messages need to be sent. The reminder text is configurable for different types of reminders. This feature is available for in VBScript for generating custom reminders.
